VA Acquired Properties
Properties owned by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) can be financed using the
veteran’s entitlement. If the veteran is applying for a VA-guaranteed loan, VA will issue a Notice of Value (NOV) upon request at VA expense. Since January 2004, the management and
sale of VA-owned properties has been contracted to Ocwen Federal Savings Bank, West PalmBeach, FL. When the lender determines that the property is a VA REO (Real Estate Owned),
they should contact Ocwen at www.ocwen.com for further information.
